Grass

I had a long and eventful weekend, where I did a lot of trekking about town and buying cheap stuff and lazing around in the sun.

And studying for the SAT IIs. But the most important thing I learned has very little to do with the rise of nation-states in western Europe. It is simply this: nothing feels better than soft, fresh grass under your bare feet after you’ve been out walking for a couple hours.

Being surrounded by daffodils and evening sunlight doesn’t hurt either.
