Big, black, and scary

No, this is not going to be a racist entry. 😉

Amy and I were just on a walk. One of our fellow dogwalkers was passing by, when somehow his dog got away from him. Before we knew it this large black creature was rushing towards us like he was going to completely run us over. Luckily, it didn’t happen. He just ran in circles around us, barking and barking until his owner caught him again.

Amy: [to our dog, who is normally quite a ferocious little thing herself] “Tara, you behaved extremely well back there. Especially considering that there was a big black dog hurtling towards us.”

Me: “Dogs aren’t that scary though.”

Amy: “Mmm…”

Me: “Of course, their scariness is amplified when they’re hurtling towards you and are big and black. But otherwise, dogs aren’t that scary.”

This English homework is painful. Creagan doesn’t provide nearly enough space for us to write in the answers to his no-critical-thinking-necessary questions. And there are so many of them…

I might want to start thinking about Kurdistan and research papers again, too.
