Too long. Too too too long.

The 2008 Presidential Election campaign has been going on for too long.  And America as a whole is slowly but surely going insane.

Need proof?

The classic Barack Obama Is Your New Bicycle has been followed by John McCain Is Your Jalopy and Sarah Palin Is Your New Bicycle’s Flat Tire.  Is there one for Joe Biden?  I don’t know.  I don’t care.  The humor has worn off.

But what Biden does have is a website devoted to his teeth.  It was my discovery of this that first suggested the true extent of America’s impending insanity.

There is a plethora of websites making relentless fun of Sarah Palin; I almost wrote “poor Sarah Palin” in a condescending tone of, um, text, but you know what?  I think she deserves it.  Here is a choice selection: Are You Smarter Than Sarah Palin?, Palin as President, Hey Sarah Palin.  Etc.  Ad nauseam.

We’ve also heard a little too much about Obama.  And Republicans are starting to look for their Canada, to which they can flee in case of emergency.

I realize these are pretty much all anti-McCain, but that’s what the internet is like.  Along with increasingly much of the country– although the NY Times features another perspective.  Really?  Biden’s hair, too?  I think Harris and Chen share my view that America needs to move on, or has already done so, because there’s only so much of this a nation can take before sacrificing its sanity.

Can we talk about something else now, please?  Like walking houses, or hamster fighting machines?
