I had a very nice week.
On Monday, I had the rare satisfaction of knowing something math-related that Steve did not, and later on, of yelling at someone else for being obnoxiously intelligent (for a change). This sounds almost contradictory; it’s not. Also I learned how to make paper cranes on the bus ride home– an essential life skill, I’ll have you know.
On Tuesday, the members of the “Divya Choir” were reminded that Nick does not need to sing correct notes in order to sound phenomenally good, and that the loudest people of our math class take AP Stats, and that my summer in 2008 is going to be amazing. Seriously, I have no idea who in their right mind would even consider inviting the IHS Choir to Prague, but hey, I’m not complaining.
On Wednesday, it was confirmed that I can take English 11 by correspondence and will thus have a little wiggle room in my schedule next year. Also, Rebecca is apparently god’s truck driver, and six equals eight, according to the failed proof we spent the last 15 minutes of math class on.
On Thursday, I woke up before my alarm in the morning, which is generally sufficient to ensure a good day. The Combined class enjoyed lots of music, poetry, food, and rugby during the Eisteddfod.

Plus I got a silver pen for poetry skills, and later on, a golden medal for Latin skills.
On Friday, I decided that muffins is a very funny word and that six actually equals five, not eight. In addition, my summer in 2007 may prove to be nearly as cool as 2008. And quite a bit cheaper. It’s somewhat comforting to know that I can submit an audition CD recorded while I was exhausted and not at all prepared and still be accepted into a music camp.

You put me to shame. You sounds so busy!
And what’s this about IHS choir going to Prague?

Ah, I only sound busy ’cause I’m summarizing an entire week here…
Members of the choir was invited to some Choral Festival that will take place for a week in July 2008 in Prague. It’s in honor of Moses Hogan, which means we’ll be singing spirituals, which kinda sucks except for the fact that it will be in the Czech Republic. Years of suffering through Loomis will finally pay off!

… Shit! I’m not in choir anymore! (Well. I am. Sort of. I’m going to be next year? Dammit.)

[...] It was supposed to begin at 2 but didn’t really start until everyone arrived at 3:30. We have serious communication issues. And I haven’t even gotten to where I said 19 and meant 199, because they are CLEARLY equivalent, haven’t you heard? This in addition to the fact that pi equals three (exactly) and six equals both five and eight. [...]
